Super friendly staff, excellent food, and good prices. The breaded pork tenderloin is great! I asked about placing a large to-go order for a group of workers at a construction site. Nick and Matt were very accommodating and even closed the space to dining over lunch time so they could focus solely on perfecting the almost 30 orders. Everything was excellent, hot and ready to pick up right on time, and the whole crew was thrilled with their food. Great job everyone!

Service is amazing and they have the best food. I have a sensitive stomach and I tend to get sick after eating out, but I've never been sick after eating here!

We stopped at The Chameleon on our way home from Iowa City based on other reviews. We're so glad we did! They had a nice selection of tap beers and our bartender/server was very friendly! We ordered the hand breaded fresh pork T and it was absolutely the best we've ever had, and we've had quite a few! So glad we shared it because it was large and thick, and so delicious! We'll definitely be back!

Definitely a neighborhood pub. All the patrons seemed to know each other and it was nice overhearing some of the joyful conversations. The food was fantastic. The tenderloin and burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly, and my son loved the potstickers. We will definitely go back next time we're in Mt. Vernon!

Our son took us to dinner here tonight. Everything was delicious! We ate on the patio as he brought his two dogs with him. We love that it is dog friendly. Our waitress was wonderful! I didn’t get her name but she was great with us and the dogs! The cook even stopped out and ask how everything was! (I think he wanted to see the dogs too ;)! Great place, people and food! We will definitely be returning! Check out our grand dogs.... Nibbles the Pibble on Tic Tok!

Great food and good drinks. Why they continue to cater to one person at the bar every day and leave the simpsons and other tv shows on loud volume every afternoon I don’t understand. It’s weird. It’s always been weird. Finally, one bartender played the music loud enough. Kudos to her for reading the place. I hope this makes it to the owner.

Good grief- I love this place. Me and my brother Big Truck just love coming in and sitting down for a round of cold ones. Highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the atmosphere and drinks with some oldies but goodies
